Shipping

There are a number of shipping methods that may be used, but for most situations, there is a certain method that is most appropriate. The default method is by USPS Express Mail, but follow the guide below to determine what method should be used and, if applicable, the appropriate customer charge.

For standard shipments:

Items under $500.00 in value: USPS Priority Mail
Customer charge: $20.00
Items over $500.00 but under $25,000.00 in value: USPS Express Mail*
Customer charge: $25.00*
Items over $25,000.00 but under $50,000.00 in value: USPS First Class Registered Mail**
Customer charge: $30.00**

* If necessary, an additional $5,000.00 in insurance may be purchased directly from the USPS for Express Mail shipments. Any additional insurance charge should be added to the standard customer charge of $20.00.
** If necessary, additional insurance may be purchased directly from the USPS for First Class Registered Mail shipments. Any additional insurance charge should be added to the standard customer charge of $15.00.

In some cases, it may become necessary to ship via FedEx or UPS. Always confirm the shipment method and be aware of the value of the shipment and insurance restrictions involved with various shipping methods. It is imperative that any potential loss is covered or that our liability in the event of such a loss is waived. This would be at customers own risk!
